Langdale Pikes from Brown How

from £29.00

The drive over to Langdale on this morning was through this thick mist. I was hoping that the mist was an inversion and therefore hanging low in the valley, so that when I climbed up Brown How I would be above it. As I drove out of the valley to my parking spot at Blea Tarn the mist cleared, so I then knew what I could expect. As always, I needed to be quick as I didn’t want the mist to lift before I could capture it. I couldn’t believe my luck when I made it up to Brown How and the mist started to spill over towards Blea Tarn. I decided to use one of my monotones on this image as I felt it made it more dramatic.

Images are shown in low resolution. This takes away much of the fine detail that can be seen on the prints themselves. If you would like to see a high resolution version, please message me and I can send this to you using a secure website.
