Clough Head Sunset from Berrier (no. 1)
I’m constantly on the look out for trees to work in to my compositions. I wanted to capture these trees with Clough Head in the background at sunset, so that the tree shadows would run towards the left corner of the image. I was blessed with great clouds and subtle colours in the sky together with remnants of snow on the mountain tops.
