Rannerdale Valley Sunrise

from £29.00

There is story about this valley which dates back to the 11th century. A battle between the native Cumbrians & Norsemen and the invading Normans. When I was taking this capture, I couldn’t help but visualise that battle. As the morning light broke through on to the mist below creating the awesome rays of light, I could almost hear the battle cries in the distance. I often think about how these views have changed very little, if at all over the centuries and people that have stood in the same spot as myself and their eyes have gazed upon the same view.

Images are shown in low resolution. This takes away much of the fine detail that can be seen on the prints themselves. If you would like to see a high resolution version, please message me and I can send this to you using a secure website.

Everything is made to order.

Shipping is usually 1 - 2 weeks.
