Wrynose Pass Sunrise
We visited the Lake District for my birthday and stayed at the Woolpack Inn on the Hardknott Pass which I can highly recommend! Being so close to the valley that sits between the Hardknott & Wrynose Pass, I was only a 20 minutes drive away. The sun was rising at around 4:30, so it was an early start. As we came over the top of the Hardknott Pass this is what greeted us. Due to the bright sun light breaking through and the shadows of the valley below, I had to shoot various exposures to capture it and maintain an overall exposure.
