Scafell Pike & Sca Fell
The mighty Scafell Pike which is the highest peak in the Lake District standing at 978m and to the right is Sca Fell which stands slightly lower at 964m. On this trip we attempted to climb it but due to bad weather, the mountain rescue turned us back two thirds of the way up. This view from the side of Wast Water shows the ascent from Wasdale Head.
