I had designated this composition earlier in the year for when the glorious heather arrived. The patch of heather that sits on the sides of Knott Rigg needed to be lit up by the early morning sun to make this capture come together. I was really pleased that I managed to capture this light. I was joined by lovely wife on this occasion to enjoy this view with me.
