Winnats Pass, Hope Valley • The Peak District • Dark Peak • Giclée Print
from £23.00
Without doubt the best temperature inversion I’ve seen at Hope Valley. As I walked on to the top of Winnats Pass, to my surprise, there was only one other photographer, whom I got chatting to and was a thoroughly nice chap. The inversion was so thick and heavy, it really felt like I was standing above the clouds. From this position, it kept creeping up through Winnats Pass and then dissipating and the road was clear again. Here I’ve captured it as its just starting to move up the road. It was a superb morning and when I left after 4 hours, the inversion hadn’t lifted and was still as thick as when I arrived. I also have a colour option of a different capture from this morning if you prefer.
Paper options:
300gsm Heavyweight Ultimate Lustre: A premium high satin stock that gives great contrast to colour & detail.
310gsm Fine Art Hahnemühle German Etching. My favourite choice of paper for monotone images. It is one of the most popular papers worldwide for artwork and photography, this mould-made textured paper has a matt, velvety surface. It is a 100% a-cellulose paper that is Acid and lignin free and meets the most exacting requirements in terms of age resistance. It retains fantastic image sharpness while preserving the special touch and feel of genuine art paper.
Printed by myself on the Canon PRO 4000 44" printer using Canon's Lucia Inks. Making my Giclée, Archival prints lightfast for 50+ years.
Print only, no frame or mount. Images are to show how the print looks in different coloured frames. The image has a white border with text set below.
If you have a particular size that you would like, please get in touch to discuss.
The print is wrapped in tissue paper and sent in a reinforced cardboard tube with end caps.
Watermark will not appear on the print.
1st class delivery included.
PLEASE NOTE: The print may look different to what you see on your computer/device’s screen. Every screen has a number of different calibration settings that all show colours differently. Also, some settings such as contrast & saturation can be altered, thus further changing how colours are represented. Therefore, the print may not look exactly how you see it on your device. Also, the light in which a print is viewed under, such as a warm/ cool or bright/dark light also changes how the colours look on the print.
