Red Deer Stag with Hinds, Lyme Park • Canvas or Framed

from £65.00
I always use a telephoto lens when photographing deer so that I don’t have to invade their space. Whilst it looks like I’m only a short distance away, I’m actually about 30 meters from them. This was taken during the rut, so there was even more reason to keep my distance. I was lying low in some long grass, keeping nice and quiet and just hoping for a good photo opportunity. That is all you can do, but thankfully more than one opportunity came, making this a really great day.

Images are shown in low resolution. This takes away much of the fine detail that can be seen on the prints themselves. If you would like to see a high resolution version, please message me and I can send this to you using a secure website.

Framed
Printed on to Hahnemuhle's archival 100% cotton 310gsm Satin Photo Rag paper. Printed on the Canon PRO 4000 12 colour printer along with Canon's Lucia Archival Inks. Lightfast for 75+ years. The print is mounted within the frame and you can choose from either black, white or pine coloured frames.

Canvas
Printed onto 350gsm cotton canvas and stretched on to a tulip wood 33mm depth of frame. My unique frames are topped with a sheet of 4mm mdf. This gives extra weight and rigidity to the frame and also eliminates the canvas sagging. A metal plate is applied and is ready to hang on to your wall. The plate ensures that the canvas sits flush against the wall as a canvas should sit.

Everything is made to order.
